How Can I Volunteer?

WUEF NEEDS YOU! Volunteering starts with signing-up during a “Back to School” or  “Orientation” event with any WUEF member or by dropping-in at any upcoming WUEF Board Meeting (3rd Tuesday of the month at Toro MPR). If you are unable to make it to a meeting and still want to participate please contact: wuef@washingtonusd.org

Make Your Tax-Deductible Contribution Today

Your per student contribution helps "fill the dish" to fund Art, Music & Technology in your schools.

Washington Union Educational Foundation (WUEF) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization tasked with raising the necessary funds to maintain the art and music programs at all three schools within the Washington Union School District. According to WUEF’s charter and bylaws, any money raised above what is needed to fully fund art and music will serve to meet technology requests from the three schools.

Each year the total amount WUEF must raise changes, generally increasing, based on the salaries negotiated by the district. The per student cost to fund these programs is determined by annual student enrollment. For this year, if $211 was contributed on behalf of each student in the district, the art and music programs would be fully funded. Any additional fundraising would strictly support technology.

Example: $190,000 (for art & music) ÷ 900 (student enrollment) = $211 per student
